Environmental Review & Permitting
We streamline complex regulations and permitting requirements for our clients through extensive knowledge of the environmental review process and well-established relationships with state and federal agencies. Wetland Delineation Surveys
We provide comprehensive aquatic resource delineation, identification, and regulatory support services. Our trained delineators are proficient in federal and state wetland delineation protocols, wetland identification, submeter data collection, jurisdictional determinations, functions and values assessment, mapping, and technical report writing. Our reports are delivered in a timely manner to avoid costly delays in the permitting process.
Nuisance Wildlife Control
KES has two permitted Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators on staff. We provide professional nuisance wildlife control services throughout Pennsylvania, assisting residential, commercial, and municipal clients with the humane and effective resolution of wildlife conflicts. All services are performed in compliance with Pennsylvania Game Commission regulations and applicable state and local requirements.
Sensitive Plant and Wildlife Surveys
KES biologists hold federal and state permits and are qualified to conduct surveys for a wide variety of threatened wildlife and plant species in the northeast. Our experienced staff provide a full range of bat, timber rattlesnake, bog turtle, Allegheny woodrat, and other species survey and monitoring services. KES also conducts biological resource inventories to determine flora and fauna diversity on public and private lands.
Invasive Species Surveys
We provide invasive plant survey services including pre and post construction monitoring, identification and abundance assessments, and mapping to support environmental compliance, land management, and ecological restoration projects. Our surveys are designed to identify, map, and assess invasive plant species in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. We provide data for permitting, construction planning, and long-term management.
GIS & Mapping Services
We provide comprehensive Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services in support of environmental analysis, infrastructure planning, and regulatory compliance. Our GIS capabilities include submeter data collection, spatial data management, resource mapping, spatial analysis and modeling, and professional and report ready maps and figures.
